  • The potential for impacts affecting water quality, hydrology and hydro-geology, with implications for water-dependant Annex II species, fish and fisheries arising from quarrying and mining places Ecofact at the forefront as a service provider with a project history of effective solutions for this industry sector.
  • Ecofact has provided baseline terrestrial and aquatic ecological surveys and impact assessments for Environmental / Ecological Impact Statements for extractive industry developments; we have also worked on numerous monitoring and licencing contracts, evaluating discharge water quality and character with regard to environmental and ecological parameters, resulting in successful planning applications.

Key services provided by Ecofact for the extractive industry include water quality and ecological monitoring in compliance with EPA discharge licence conditions.
