Ecofact are leaders in Ireland the provision of Ecological Impact Assessment services. We follow the guidelines for Ecological Impact Assessment provided by the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM).

We are experts in identifying and evaluating ecological features, characterising and quantifying impacts and assessing their significance, minimising negative impacts and maximising positive outcomes through the project design process, identifying legal and policy implications and their consequences for decision making; and identifying the role of stakeholders in achieving maximum benefits for biodiversity.
Ecofact has extensive experience of carrying out EcIAs for a range of projects including: wind energy developments, small hydroelectric schemes, waste-to-energy plants, rail and road schemes; business park developments; housing schemes; smaller-scale industrial and quarry and mining projects.
